Project Overview
...Am Apparat is a podcast by the students of the Masters of Creative Direction 2022. Each 30-50 minute episode features two students discussing identity related topics with experts. The podcast content has been a weekly feature on Spotify, YouTube and Instagram.
My Contributions
In a group of four people we planned the publication of  ...AmApparat. My task was to create a set design and film the interviews. After synchronising sound and video, they were edited and designed. Each week an episode was released on Spotify and YouTube. The interviews were featured on Instagram with three visual posts and stories per week. We finished by presenting our work at the University's annual event called Werkschau.

IMPLEMENTED IN SPOTIFY

Idientity switching, Gender studies and Rituals
Podcast about Identity
Sep 2022 - Dec 2022
"I'm Kim, I'm 14 years old and not sure about my gender. It's hard for me to go to school because none of the toilets feel right to me. I get weird looks anyway. One day I decided to drink less before school so I wouldn't have to go to the toilet. It worked, but now I can't concentrate and my grades have gone down." A gender neutral toilet could solve many problems, but our society is not flexible enough to let go of cultural habits.

The Podcast discusses Idientity switching, gender studies and rituals from many different points of view. We called it "...Am Apparat" (egal.: on the Apparat) because the interviews were done in online video conferencing. The old-fashioned title is coined by the fundament of the subject, which is dependent on the culture and the rituals of the earlier times.
